Cornhole rules vs Bru-Bag rules!

Intro to Cornhole rules.

Cornhole rules are pretty simple, you start off setting the boards 27 feet apart.  Then when playing 2 vs 2, teammates will line up across from each other on opposing boards.  There are 8 bags in total, each player gets 4 bags to toss, the game starts by one player throwing a bag.  If the bag lands on the board and stays on, then that bag will count for 1 point. If the bag goes through the hole in the board then that bag will count for three points.  The first player will begin by tossing his bag, once his bag either lands on the board, goes through the hole or hits the ground then it will begin the second teams turn.  If the second players bag gets the same amount of points as they first players throw then they cancel each other out (example: If the first player sinks it in the hole & then the second player does as well then the points cancel out).  After all 8 bags have been thrown, the points are totaled up and the team with the most points gets first shot in the next round.  This continues till one team gets to 21 points (must win by two).  Now that you know the basics of Cornhole rules it’s time you learned about Bru-Bag’s rules.

Intro to Bru-Bag’s rules.

Cornhole and Bru-Bag!

The easiest ways to look at Bru-Bag’s rules is this, see those six holes in the picture above?  Those six holes represent the six red cups that you would typically set up in beer pong.  Now see those two bean bags?
You guessed it those are the equivalent of the two ping pong balls that you and your partner play with in beer pong.  Last but not least, you see the covers on the ground next to the set?  When your opponent sinks a bag through the hole you must IMMEDIATELY cover the hole with those covers.  This is the equivalent of drinking the red cup and taking it off from the table.  Now that you have an idea of how the game is played you’re probably thinking “that’s pretty cool” but wait… there’s more! Remember the rules that you and your buddies/girlfriends use to play when you were running the table back in your early 20’s?  They’re all here redemption, overtime, re-racks, bags back and more.  Even if one of the rules that you use to play with isn’t in our official rules, you can always just use your own house rules when playing the game.  So there is tons of different ways to play Bru-Bag.  Heck you can even throw it overhand if you want (which is forbidden in Cornhole rules).

So now that you have a good idea of the difference between Cornhole rules & Bru-Bag rules were sure that you will make the right choice a go with the Bru-Bag classic set.  Not only is it lightweight, made from REAL high quality wood that has the durability to last it also comes with a 30 day money back guarantee (that’s how confident we are that you’ll love our game).  Enjoy the set and we’re looking forward to seeing you on the Bru-Bag field!
